About the name

Unique places make for good times. For example, Toot's, a hot dog stand in Chicago served great cheddar nuggets. Toot's was the kind of place you go to after the bars close and you got the munchies. Deep fried breaded cheese. How can you lose? Toot's rented its property on the corner of Montrose and Central and, unfortunately, the landowners decided they wanted to sell in order to build condos. When I told my wife this, she commented plaintively, "But condos don't make cheddar nuggets." So true. So true. I decided it was time to celebrate the unique places, people and ideas that make life good in order to better appreciate them while they still exist.
